Racism is anchored in everyday, institutional, university, official structures and discriminates against affected persons incessantly. The Unit for Black People, Indigenous People and People of Color (BIPoC) represents the interests, values and rights of all students who are affected by such experiences of racism. The department actively works against racism and for empowerment and wants to give affected students the opportunity to not feel helpless and isolated. The department claims to act as a contact and networking point and wants to actively contribute to making the university a space critical of racism.
